The Sailor/Irish Rover: The ensign (national flag) is the most important and prominent flag on a vessel. Since nautical knots are steeped in Celtic culture, we honored our heritage with the Irish tricolour. The nautical star was used to help sailors stay the course and ensure they made it safely back to home port.
